I have looked at Mouser catalog and relays with 10,000 ohm resistance coils
don't jump out at me.
===============================
They were called plate relays during the last century. Nowadays look for a
relay with a 110VDC coil and that'll get you close to 10K.

Not a chance. Entirely different thing.

I realize that things are a little different in Broward County but I'm going
to have to push the BS buzzer on that one. Relays having 110VDC coils will
have coil resistances in the area of 6K to 10K ohms. Here is an example of a
readily available relay from Mouser, Part # 526-R06-14D10-12, having a 10K
ohm coil.
