[Johnson] impedance transformer

I have a question.I want to use a pro 40 mic with my Johnson Viking Valiant.
I have the impedance transformer, but not sure how to hook up. Im going to
install in transmitter.I figure one end of transformer goes to pin #1 of mic
connector, but not sure of other lead. Pin #2 is for push to talk.Any help
greatly appreciated.  Ted
