         Let me stick my three cents in here, since I've dealt with Heyboer 
as well.  Phil, the guy that owns the joint,
can do either.  I've had them rebuild my transformers and I've had them 
build up new ones.  Phil can answer just about any question
that you might have on the subject.  Now, if he's done Johnson items 
before, he will have info on them and won't need your original.
Or if you prefer, he can take your old one and make the new guts fit the 
old end bells and iron, which is what he did for me on my
GE E-155 restoration project.  BTW, Cal, they are in Granad Haven MI and 
not to far from Lake Michigan.  But this ain't the time of
the year to visit the lake!!
