[Johnson] Ranger Problem - Many Thanks!

Many thanks to those who took the time to email with solutions to the Ranger
"motor boating" problem.
The general consensus was to check/adjust the small pot on the metal shelf.
Given the somewhat dismal WX forecast for the weekend, I should have plenty
of time for this!
 
I'll do so and report back to the list with the results.
 
Once again, thanks for the many replies, sending to the list due to the
