Mr. Measures only mentions the manufacturers on his website, and I have 
always wondered why he didn't want to defend himself from the anger he 
raised over at Eimac, too.  Perhaps he just got tired of the fight.  But boy 
oh boy, was Eimac unhappy.  Measures alleged that Eimac tubes had parasitics 
and Amperex did not.

I'm very glad his modification worked for you. My SB-220 didn't have any 
problems, so I did not have occasion to modify it. (It did have a parasitic, 
but it operated OK and I just didn't worry about it. It just wasn't very 
happy on ten meters. I needed one of the "Round-to-its.") But I have since 
parted with the rig.
