Thank you for openly sharing your experience with the 6146B.  Not everyone 
has your candor.  I recently acquired a Ranger II and have plans to go through 
that baby.  It'll be tweaked and peaked with the good help of Bob K5AUW and his 
test bench.  You just saved us a ton of work.
