Hi Cal,

Most rigs have room for internal fuse holders of the clip in type under the 
chassis.  Usually this can be accomplished by replacing an existing mounting 
screw with one long enough to accomodate the new part.  If a fuse blows, you are 
probably going to have to go inside anyway to fix the cause, so popping the 
cabinet to replace the fuse would be necessary in any case.  All this can be 
done with no new holes drilled and the rig can be easily restored to original 
condition with no one the wiser.

Be sure that the fuse is in the hot side of the line, usually the black lead 
on a US manufactured 3 wire cord set.
