[Johnson] tranny rewinds

there are a number of people who rewind transformers.. do not get a old one 
and put it in. the old ones were wound for 110v ac before  1950 and  116 v 
ac after 1950 if i recall correctly, in the mid 70's i think is when it 
went to  120v ac.
take that old one and have it rewound.. i had a S 40A rewound by Gary 
Brown.. outstanding job. he is going to rewind a Globe Champion 350 tranny 
for me when it arrives from Calif. then i have a couple of Valiants that i 
am going to have the trannys rewound in when i get the champ on the air. 
Won't  have to worry about my 120 v ac line here overheating and taking out 
my trannys then.
