All: I did some more checking over the weekend on the 5-pin connector used
in the back of the Valiant II and the SSB adapter. Apparently Amphenol used
to make this connector but sold the line to WPI. It was apparently part of
the "91 series" of connectors. WPI told me today that they have NEVER made
the 5-pin connector, even though they have the details on the insert. This
is in the last 18 years since they acquired the line from Amphenol.

I think the chances of finding the 5-pin connector for the back of the
Valiant or SSB adapter is essentially nil. Any recommendations from you
guys? I hate the idea of changing out the connectors, but unless I can turn
up one or two, that's what I am faced with.

BTW the Radio Shack suggestion was a good one, but it doesn't appear to be
the correct size. The original insert is 5/8" in diameter.

Thanks to all in advance for the help.
