[Johnson] Unusual Resistor (mildly off topic)

Sounds like it is at least a 100 watt unit. Could have been used as a 
bleeder.

with the markings   TRW   15 Meg  W8448   I assume it is 15 megaohms but
whats the wattage  Any gueses what it might be good for?>>
