[Johnson] Wanted:Info on Adventurer Modulator

Hello to All,

After over 40 years, I'm finally getting close to modulating my Johnson 
Adventurer.  This was always my novice dream, back in the 50's.  Anyway, I 
have the Adventurer and I also managed to find the modulator for it, a Cat. 
No. 250-40 modulator.  Now, all I need to find out is how to hook it 
up.  An old ARRL handbook has it listed in the advertisement section and 
says that minor modifications are required to the Adventurer when 
connecting the modulator.  I would imagine this would involve modifications 
to the plate and screen circuit, as this is a screen modulator device.

Would anyone have the manual available for this piece?  Any past experience 
with it?  Your comments would be appreciated.
