Good luck in finding the problem. Possibly it MIGHT be the keying
circuit adjustment (I don't have the manual so I can't tell you).
It's in your manual and before digging into anything (i.e. removing
and replacing components), that might be a good thing to do as a
matter of procedure before clipping and soldering.
