[Johnson] Driver Tranny for Ranger

Hi gang,

Need some advice......... I'm looking at an audio interstage tranny in the 
2002 copy of Antique Electronic Supply catalog -------- Part # PT-124D.   
This thing looks like it might work as a replacement for the stock one in the 
Ranger.  However, I notice it has a disclaimer of "max 25vdc" for the bias 
voltage.  Has anyone used this part (successfully) in the Ranger?  Bias is 
slightly higher in the Ranger (~28-30v) and I'm concerned this tranny might 
be on the edge in this application.

Any comments or suggestions?
