Two different problems on the reply situation. Apparently the list supervisor
has it set up so that you can only reply to the list. In my opinion this is a
bad way to do it.  If you want to reply to only the sender you must copy his
email address and then past it in the "to" box on your reply and then delete the
list address.

On the CCA list, the main reason you see few replies is that most people are
afraid to reply to the list because on that list someone invariably jumps on
every reply with a negative attitude about what has been said. I used to be on
those lists but had enough of the bickering.
