I wonder if anyone on the list who owns an Invader 200 can give me some
pointers. I just purchased a very nice, original 200 with a problem. It loads
up fine on 15, 20 & 40 meters but nothing on 10 or 80 meters. The other thing
that is driving me crazy is that it's putting out well over 100 watts but I'm
unable to find my self on a receiver right next to the transmitter. I have no
idea what frequency it's transmitting on when the dial reads 14.200
I also notice that when it's in USB or LSB, there is full output when the PTT
is keyed. Just like when it's in the AM position.. I don't think that's
right..
I tried to null the carrier but it has no effect. I also notice that the Bias
voltage is quite high. Adjusting R 71 brings it down but not low enough..
Any ideas would be welcomed..
