[Johnson] Valiant II modifications, resurrection data

Saw the manual and audio mod requests. There is an Electric Radio article
called "Curing That Valiant Sound", or "the Valiant Sound" or some such. I
worked on a friend's Valiant which had the partially installed mod to
correct and finish it and the set works just fine. Too many years were spent
around aircraft and high pitched motor generators for me to have the
required "AM Wideband Golden Ear" but Mike N6TYF gets good reports from
those with undamaged earbones. ;^) On the manual thing..just heard the
senior fellow at Hi Manuals is SK.
