All:
Just wanted to know something: it should be ok to substitute 6L6's for the 1614's and 7027's found in our Ranger's, correct???
I realize there are elevated voltages to be had on what would be otherwise 6L6 replacements (the 1614's and 7027's). I also suspect that with elevated voltages, one may expect a shorter life using 6L6's in place of the 1614's or 7027's. Any comments, please let me know and thanks. Cal, N6KYR.
