I need a coupling unit too.
I had a good adventure with my Variarm.
It came with a bad curtain burner cord and I didn't want to deal with a big, hot resistor,
so I converted it to use higher filament voltage tubes, 50L6, 50Y6, 12K8.
With a three wire power cord, I'm happily using it in some vintage setups.
I've also made 80 m contacts from NC to the Midwest, NY, and FL, with a screaming 2W of RF, to my 80m loop. Reports were 579 or so, even before they knew I was QRP.
Changing the osc tube was messy and the shock mounts were toast, but I did it.
Stability is excellent!

Gordon, I was unable to locate my Variarm VFO. There is one on epay right now. The price is currently very low so you may be able to snag one at a reasonable price.
Good luck,

I recently made the decision to sell off my Millen stuff because I?m probably never going to put together a Millen station which was my original intent. The rack mounted Millen equipment is in a rack cabinet but the non-rack mounted stuff is still in storage boxes. I?ll look around in the boxes but it will take me several days to make that happen.

The one on eBay is also missing the coupling unit that he wants.

I looked at that one on eBay but didn?t see the coupler. I just asked the seller about it.
