The PS would only put out about 1,000V with silicon rectifiers, so it would limit your input to around 200W, but it includes an audio section ending up with a pair of 811A's for modulation.? I had one here, but it was too doggone heavy for me to deal with so I sold it locally. Meanwhile, I found a power transformer from a Heathkit SB-200, which is almost ideal if you build a full wave doubler around it. The filament and bias windings are also totally useable for the Millen amp. Depending on what finals you run, you will probably need to build. I?ve seen a ton of HV supplies at the fests for way less money than it would take to assemble one from scratch (depending on how healthy your junk box is). Especially good prices toward the end of the day and how much the supply weighs. LOL Tis the season for looking under the table and in the back of the pickup trucks. :<} Tom N5AMA Sent from my iPhone > On Apr 16, 2026, at 3:27?PM, georgew1lsb--- via James_Millen_Society wrote: > > ? > Hi Paul:If you can find one, a potential solution is to acquire the power supply/modulator deck from a Clegg Zeus transmitter.
