[JMS] 90800 meter switch

I have four Millen 90800 exciters. Three have DPDT toggle switches to select the meter function. One has a rotary switch. I’ve seen pictures of both kinds on the internet. Which is right or are both right?  Which style came first?

By the way, I will sell two of these exciters to anyone who want to make one good one from them. Both have parts missing but I think there’s enough there for a good one.
