[JMS] Millen Catalogs - New to our website

Greetings Fellow Millen Society members,

The topic today is Catalogs.  I just added a new category to our 
jamesmillensociety.org website for viewing and downloading James Millen 
catalogs.  This represents everything from my personal collection.  
Naturally I would love to fill in as many blanks as possible.  One of my 
favorites is the 1947-48 Communications Receivers & Transmitters 
catalog.  This is the only one, I think, that has the never released 
DFP-201 and DFP-501 receivers.  As you will notice this is only a 
grayscale scan of the original.  The reason is when I visited the AWA 
Annex back in 2001, I had the opportunity to go through their collection 
of catalogs, in particular interest was naturally James Millen. They 
have the original of this catalog and were very kind to let me use their 
photocopier to make this grayscale copy.  Note to our JMS members who 
live in the AWA Museum (& library) area, maybe you can swing by and 
borrow some of their Millen Catalogs, including the aforementioned, and 
properly color scan then for inclusion on our website - subtle hint, hi.

What is amazing to me is that the James Millen Manufacturing Co. was 
formed in 1939.  And in the 1940-41 catalog is a very extensive list of 
available components already in production. That little 2nd floor 
facility in Malden must have been humming along at full steam in those 
early years.  As you will discover so far my catalogs jumps from that 
initial 1940-41 all the way to 1946.  That's one area I'd like to expand 
and also discover if there are any non-component related catalogs from 
those early years of the company.

Hope our member can help fill in the blanks.  Full color scans would be 
most desirable.
