Has anyone ever seen this beast, or was it yet another item that was in
the Millen catalog but never seen the light of day? It's a hybrid of
the old Frequency Meter, standard crystal oscillators and an HF
Receiver. I just saw this in the Millen 1946 - 1947 Electronic
Laboratory Equipment Catalog that's for sale on eBay right now. I did
snag a picture of the unit and the description from the eBay ad and have
it on my website for your review.

Personally I've never seen one, but that's not to say this wasn't a
special contract build for Millen and they just decided to put it in
their catalog. That wouldn't be the first time for them. Also of note
are some similarities to items incorporated into their two ham receivers
that were advertised a year later, but that also never made it to formal
production. I can't imagine this was a low cost item!
