Thanks Bill; looking forward to seeing the pix.
Meanwhile, I will set about documenting the coils for the 90811 and make the info available to all. Perhaps Don would add it to the tech info on the JMS web site.
Incidentally, the 90810 transmitter uses that same coils, but only for 10 thru 2M as its limited to those bands.

Hi George,
It's a neat little unit. I am at work right now but wanted to thank you for responding so soon. The box looks like a factory production so when I have some time at home I will send a pic of it to you.
I have not found anything on line about it. It does have a serial number though.
Ok Better get back to work.
Thanks again.
Cheers
Bill

Hi Bill:
The complete manual is on the JMS web site; that should start you off. As for the coils, the manual does list what's required for grid and plate for each band, however they are hard to find. The good news is that the Millen coils can be duplicated with some effort. The better news is that I have a full set of all coils from 20M through 2M and can photograph anything you might want to try to fabricate. I suspect you would be able to scale the 20M coil designs to work on 40M, but it would take some amount of cut and try.
Your small mystery box exciter & mod sounds interesting!

Good Morning Everyone!
New to the society. I picked up a 90811 Amp that appears to be all there.
does anyone have information about the Amp. I have the manual and Schematic but need information about coils power supply hook up and also it came with what appears to be a modulator and exciter in a small box with crystal holder.
Any help in everyday use and any other information would be great. Also could this amp be stretched to work 40 meters??
Cheers
