Hi Franco,
I will send you internal pictures of my DFP-201 via email. Mine had
very little under chassis wiring and is obviously missing the coil
catacomb as well. The only other DFP-201 and DFP-501 I know that exist
were the property of Alan Douglas. Sadly Alan passed away several years
ago. I am not sure what happened to his extensive collection and it is
my hope that the AWA (Antique Wireless Association) might have been the
recipients, but no facts on that matter. Perhaps some of our JMS
members who are also very involved in the AWA could help you in locating
those.
I do remember when I talked to Alan over ten years ago that his DFP-201
did contain the coil catacomb. However, his was missing all the above
chassis dial indicator hardware, which mine has. Actually it always
sounded like between the two DFP-201's we could have built up a working
receiver.
Stay tuned for the internal pictures of the DFP-201. If anyone else on
the list wants copies of these inside pictures just drop me an email.
To see the front of my DFP-201 it's on our JMS webpage at
https://www.isquare.com/millen/eqpicts/dfp201.html Ignore any security
warning!
