Don't forget the AWA AM QSO Party is coming up. A good opportunity to
get those vintage (or modern) AM stations on the air. This year W1HRX
(The James Millen Society) station will be run by Dennis K0EOO out of
Lakeville, MN. Dennis has a beautifully constructed 500 watt Millen
setup which can be seen here
<http://www.isquare.com/millen/members/k0eoo.htm>. W2AN will again be
operated from the AWA Annex in upstate New York and they will be using
several stations, including the original James Millen
transmitter/receiver <http://www.isquare.com/millen/bio_rem/mmstn.html>
from the 1930's. Note, you don't have to be an AWA member for this
event. This QSO Party has always been open to all amateurs!
