As reported to me by JMS member Joe Rubin:

Art Rose W1PXL died on Thursday May 21, 2009 after months of
hospitalization mostly in ICU. Art was first licensed in 1947. He was a
member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association (Member #19981) and the
Pelican Chapter #128. Military funeral services will be held at 09:15 on
May 29, 2009 at the Bay Pines National Cemetery. Bart Bridge W2ZYQ, 
Secretary Chapter #32.

Art Rose joined the JMS in October of 2007.  Art indicated that he 
worked for both National and Millen in the area of Quality Control. 

Joe Rubin had worked and gently prodded Art to write something for our 
JMS website about his years of service at the companies.  However, later 
due to Art's failing health such writings were not possible.  It is with 
great sadness that the world has lost one more ham brother and an 
honored JMS member.
