Hi All,

W1HRX Operations

Just an update on the upcoming W1HRX operation during the AWA AM QSO 
Party.  I did receive a couple of offers to run this years operation.  
I'm still waiting a reply from the AWA relating to some logistics 
relating to this years event.  I will contact the offer'ies as soon as I 
get my answers from the AWA.

Manuals on JMS site

We have now added all the manuals we have to the JMS website (Thanks Bob 
W0YVA). So now you can download both schematics and manuals for many of 
the Millen products.  More will be added as time goes on.  If you 
acquire any we don't have please forward on a hard copy to me or a 
scanned pdf version and it will get it posted to our site.

Call for Pictures

If your a JMS member and still don't have your picture on our website 
(http://www.isquare.com/millen/members/jms_mr.html)  then take the time 
to generate one and send it off to me.  As would be expected,  I would 
love to see you in front, behind or beside your favorite Millen or 
National gear. We now have 76 members and only seven pictures.  That's 
not yet 10%. 

Personal Stuff

I just picked up the oscillator section of the Millen 90700 Variarm VFO 
off eBay no less.  It was advertised as a "National Potentiometer" no 
less.  It appears to be the whole oscillator box that sits atop the main 
chassis, minus the tuning dial.  Couldn't pass it up and being the only 
bidder I got it very cheap IMHO.  It could be a good foundation for the 
VFO section of a HB transmitter or a repair part for a badly needed 
90700 refurb.
