Hi Ronnie,

The Variarm Arm should be rather easy to duplicate. It's simply a shaft
collar with one threaded hole to lock it to the shaft. The actual arm
could be a long screw that is the same as the hole threading, probably
6-32. At the finger end of the arm you could probably use a radio knob
of some sort with a 1/8" shaft. You could cover the arm with some black
tubing to hide the threading of the arm. If the arm is completely gone
the colar could probably be made using a normal 1/4" shaft couple.

Did you check the shiping box good to make sure it didn't fall off in
shipping? Since the arm is screwed into the collar it is the means of
holding the collar onto the capacitors shaft. They are very easy to
remove and even during normal use a person must be careful not to twist
the arm so it doesn't loosen the collar.

Perhaps Ralph over at James Millen Electronics might have these arm
assemblies in stock.

On the 90711 VFO I often don't even use the Variarm. The tuning dial is
used by itself.
