I was on with my Millen station last night and checked into the Collins AM
net on 3880 with Bob, w0yva and with Jim, w0nkl.  Bob heard my call but
their was a carrier on the frequency when he turned it over to me so I
missed my chance to transmit until I checked in with Jim.  So far the Millen
station works great.  I have the 90700 VFO on line most of the time and it's
doing a super job....  I also started writing-up an article on my experience
building-up my Millen station.  Hope to have it out soon....

Greetings all!

A James Millen night would be great. Count me in!  Latest on my Millen
project:
I gave the rig (Millen 812A amplifier, Millen exciter, Millen 2" scope,
homebrew LV and HV supplies and 811A Modulator) an RF smoke test.
Everything works smooth as glass.  I plan to add the modulator and audio
driver on line within the next week  or two after doing some mods on the
EICO 730 Speech Amp.  

Again, a James Millen night or whatever certainly has my attention!
