To all you staunch James Millen Fans:
This might lead into a "James Millen night" net? What do you think?
Like the mighty-Elmac guys do. Check in with your James Millen station,
if you have one, otherwise you can check in with any vintage
station..... That will get the James Millen name out there every week
or month depending how often we want to host this?
I notice on the might-Elmac net that quite a number of guys check in
with Elmac stations some barefoot and some on amps. That could be the
same with JM rigs. The 90800 and 90801 exciters/90831 modulators on 700
volts put out as much as an AF-67 so why not? Add an amp if you have
one a time or too....
I think it will give the guys with JM modules something to shoot for
that would be fun....
Anyway, any comments?
73's, Dennis, k0eoo

Hi Don,
Why don't we think about a sked one day this evening or this weekend? I
can do 80 and 40 meters now and the YL is visiting our kids in CA for
the next two weeks so I'm batching it and can set my own sked.... Give
it a thought....
Ciao, Dennis

Hi Dennis,
I took the family out to dinner on Sunday so wasn't able to get to the
shack in the evening. I'm sure I will catch you soon in the early
evenings. I'll just need to keep an ear open on 3825.
I did hear you checking out on Saturday. It took me two tries to get
into the round table. You guys are fast on the mic buttons, hi.

Hello Don,
I heard from the 3825 group that you had checked in with the group just
after I had checked out, darn.. I'll be on that net today at 4 or 5pm
today so if you have a chance give me a call. They all said they had no
trouble hearing your station.
Regards, Dennis
