Hi Tim!

No interest in the tuner. I have a Dentron MT-2000A that's doing just
fine for me right now, but thanks for the offer!

I'm not sure that the BC-610 coils can be used in the Millen amp or not,
since the amp needs the swinging link. The only coil I'm in need of
right now is the grid coil for the amp for 15 meters (Millen p/n 43015)
but it's not an absolute must. I would eventually like to track down the
Millen 80 meter tank coil for the amp (Millen p/n 42080), but I have a
mint NOS B&W TVL 80 that will serve the purpose in the meantime.

Spoke with Bob Raide, W2ZM on 40 meter AM last weekend and he said he
will be at the conference this year on Wednesday for a few hours and on
Friday for the ham radio forum and the banquet that night. Hooray! He
said Mike might be able to come with him at those times as well.

Beer indeed! I'm also planning on bringing another bottle of high grade
scotch for the W1GIG "Shaken, Not Stirred" gathering at whatever
mysterious hotel room you guys end up in. Last year I brought that
Macallan 10 year old "Cask Strength" scotch, which tended to have a bite
to it that isn't a normal feature of their flagship line of scotch (but
a helluva higher alchohol content!). This year I'll be sure to bring a
bottle of their regular 12 year old scotch that is aged in oak casks
that had previously had fine sherry stored in them. It is by far the
best 12 year old scotch in the world. (I wish I could afford to bring a
bottle of their 18 year. Ye gods, what a scotch!) Whiskey magazine said
the Macallan pulled their 12 and 18 year old scotches from competition
because they constantly kept on winning every year!

I also received an email from Don Buska, N9OO yesterday, and he said he
will be returning to the conference this year as well! More good news,
after an abscence of three years my XYL, Laura will have the vacation
time to come with me to Rochester. Yep,. it's going to be a good one
this year!

Look forward to seeing you at the conference next month! (Please remind
me of the name and callsign of your partner in crime that accompanies
you every year. As you know my memory is like a well worn sieve.)

73, Gary - WA4IAM

P.S. Did I send you one of my newly printed QSL cards? If not, I know
there is a QSO in the log that I can QSL you for. Please let me know.

I have a bunch of the latter made by B & W. They have a rotating link inside the coil instead of the swing link. I know I have 40 M coils and I think I have 80 and maybe higher. I could bring one to AWA if you are interested.
