[JMS] South Milwaukee Swapfest and Vernier Dial Request

Don N9OO was telling me about the goin's on at South Milwaukee on the phone yesturday.  That fest continues to amaze me. The last time I attended South Milwaukee fest was in 1984 or so. Around here in Saint Paul, the hamfests are disappointing.  Very FEW parts, very few boat anchors, and the BA that show up are usually sporting Ebay prices, the tube vendors sit there quoting AES prices for their untested tubes..... Its frustrating.  I need to get down to South Milwaukee next year.

Hey does anyone on the JMS reflector have a National type H vernier that I could buy?  I'm building a 3 tube Rationalized Autodyne from Jan 1933 QST, and I'm trying to duplicate the look and feel of the article.  They are using the H vernier.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
