[JMS] Lambda Model 28

Further, after I hit send I remembered more. Yes, it is a linear supply
and I should have said "adjustable". It has a pot on the chassis to vary
the output DC voltage. Also a respectable 6.3VAC output as well. My
model 28 had the full schematic under the chassis cover.

A great supply to power those SW-3's, SW-5's (be careful what filament
voltage tubes you have if you plan on using the 28's as a filament
source) and many one tube self-oscillating transmitters.

There are several versions of the model 28. I noticed Bob Sullivan had
a much different chassis layout than mine. I also have a version that
has meters for both output voltage and current.

Hi Bill,

The Lambda Model 28 is a regulated DC supply with a range of around 150V
to 300V DC at 100mA. Those value are from memory. A very nice rack
mounted supply which is only about 5" high and only about five or six
inches deep behind the panel. Uses a couple of 6Y6's as current amps.

A really nice and relaiable supply for BA projects.
