[JMS] Millen-to-ARRL HQ QSO!

Hello All,

This past Saturday afternoon while working some friends on 40 meter AM 
with my Millen 90801 transmitter I managed to have a QSO with W1AW/90 as 
they were using their newly installed vintage AM station. I must say 
that restored Viking Valiant sounds very nice indeed. I know that JMS 
member Joe Walsh, WB6ACU and many others, including Bob Heil, were 
instrumental in the donation and installation of this vintage station at 
ARRL HQ. All I can say is "thanks" guys for getting it setup there. 
Having a QSO with W1AW/90 on AM certainly gave me and many others a 
thrill yesterday afternoon that we won't soon forget. I can't say for 
certain, but knowing the scarcity of the Millen equipment and that the 
AM station at ARRL HQ hasn't been on the air very long, I may have 
earned the bragging rights of being the first Millen equipped station to 
have a QSO with them on AM! Now I HAVE to get some QSL cards made up, hi hi!
