		Hi Guys,

First of all to John - WB5OAU, the ciruit of the tuner/interface unit is
pictured at the output in the schematic of the 90711 VFO. It appears
that it has more to do with tuning the output of the VFO for the crystal
socket input of the transmitter than isolating them from each other. (I
could be very wrong on this. I'm still very much a greenhorn with this
stuff.) I'm sorry I missed you at the meet because I was looking forward
to finally meeting you. I will be at the first CC-AWA summer mini-meet
held at the North Carolina Transportation Museum this May or June (no
dates yet, I think) so look for me there.
Now to John - W4AWM, I picked up the Millen VFO on a pre-arranged deal
with my friend John, KA3BRK, so the only time it saw the light of day
was during the exchange, hi hi! It looks as if it just came off the
production line. John said he replaced the electrolytics and one
resistor in it, and said it has a beautiful note. On another subject, I
will email you those W1HRX operation photos I promised you awhile back
sometime this afternoon. There will be quite a few of them, so give them
time to download, hi hi. I had an email from Barry Wiseman this past
week, and he said he hopes to put the article I wrote on the W1HRX
special event station in the April issue of Electric Radio, so keep a
lookout for that!
There's no way I'm going to have my Millen station ready in time to use
it for the AWA Linc Cundall Memorial OT DX contest this week. I'll have
to use my modern Yaesu FT-920 again this year. If you guys are going to
be in the contest look for me using the club callsign N4AWA.

		73,
	Gary - WA4IAM
