In spite of my promise to the XYL after last year,  it looks as if I will be going mobile again this year... She is not happy... I was really hoping to sit at home in my comfortable chair and crank out high power CW all day....and drink beer....  but we are short a few mobiles/rivers and portables this year, creating some open spaces... see the map:www.hdxcc.org/inqp/activity.php I can try to cover one of the big areas of white on the activity map, but we need a few hearty souls to help in the remaining spaces.... I can either cover the north area, or the south area, but not both..... And any way I cut it, I will miss Sullivan, Henry and Rush Counties...and maybe Bartholomew and Pike Counties.... not enough time... also will miss Lake County, but there are a few hams there who usually don't announce plans but show up anyway... and maybe N4TZ can activate Henry County...
And even though it's tight to hit them, I prefer to skip Ohio and Switzerland counties as they give me no time margin for error
So.... any idea who can help? Any hams in Columbus area? How about mobiles from Cincinnati ??? Somebody from Michigan who wants to visit Steuben Co? Any ofthe Daviess County group want to visit Sullivan Co? Anybody been dying to see if their 12 volts HF rig will work from the car?  Any clubs or groups of beer drinking buddies who want to go sit on a county line or in a park with temporary antennas and a big 12 volt battery for an hour or two? You don't have to operate all day... some of the counties that most mobiles hit will be on for only 15-20 minutes  and that's it (so spot the mobiles and rovers!!!!)...  If you have a friend in one of the "white" counties, see if they can get on 40 meters for a half hour on May 5 Any help out there? Mel KJ9C....  INQP website www.hdxcc.org/inqp
