>This is just a friendly reminder that the Hoosier Hills Hamfest is just one week away from today. Hope you have made your plans for next weekend to include the best southern Indiana hamfest around. If you need to know anything just pay a visit to the hamfest website at http://www.w9qyq.org/hamfest, also while you're there you can download a hamfest flyer, view maps of where we are located and even a map of inside the building. We will be giving away hourly door prizes from the ARRL and also Baofeng UV-5R radios. Our new Indiana section manager Joseph Lawrence, K9RFZ is planning to attend and present a forum. We will have foxhunt demonstrations, and a forum on using older PA and DJ equipment in the ham shack. And as always there will be ARRL VEs doing license testing. (We will need a copy of your license if you're upgrading and a copy of a photo ID would also be helpful) The test fee is $15.

>Gates open at 6am for the vendors and 8am for the public. We are located at the Lawrence County 4H Fairgrounds on U.S. 50 west, which is just south of Bedford. Look for the Speedway station and head west from there. Admission is still just $5 and 12 and under are FREE. Free parking and handicap parking available near the building on the blacktop.
