In just 14 days the state of Indiana will populate the HF bands for the 12
hours of the Indiana QSO Party. OK, we won't actually own the bands, as a
couple other QSO Parties will be taking place then as well. But there will
be a lot of activity on SSB and CW from Indiana. And don't forget to work
stations in other QSO parties to collect more states and contacts.
We have commitments from stations in 91 of our 92 counties. See the activity
map at http://www.hdxcc.org/inqp/activity.php. If you know of a ham in
Porter county who can get on for a while that day, please rattle their
cage..... Many times stations will show up unannounced, but it's nice to
know that all 92 will be on for INQP.
Maybe a mobile can come over from the Chicago area to help out (thanks to
N9JF and AE8M for volunteering to cross the state line).
We have fewer mobiles this year, but more home, club, and rover stations,
meaning bigger signals from many counties. (look in the CW bands for
mobiles, who often can't be heard calling CQ on SSB. And if you call CQ on
SSB, ask for "mobiles/QRP only" once in a while)
Looking forward to another fun (and busy) INQP
