With less than five days before Indiana QSO Party the map is filling in
quite well http://www.hdxcc.org/inqp/activity.php. All 92 counties will be
covered, many with multiple signals.

We have at least six portable operations planned, and an unprecedented
TWELVE mobiles! However, there seem to be no rover operations planned this
year. Maybe there's time to put together some "sling over the trees"
antennas to go with your mobile rig and create some competition in this
class. If the effort is big enough there's a plaque for top rover (i..e. a
movable station). A rover can operate while moving using mobile antennas and
then park using dipoles or verticals.... or bigger!

There are only three counties that may be tougher to work (mobile running
SSB) so if you hear Porter, Scott, or Shelby county you don't want to put
off working them.

Don't forget to check 80 CW and 75 SSB during the afternoon, as that's when
some of the more "rare" counties will be activated by their mobiles. You
MIGHT be able to catch a short hop on 40 meters, but as the day wears on 80
will get better for close in work. So don't put off checking 80 until too
late.

Don't forget to activate your Hoosier club members to participate, as
there's an award for highest aggregate score (of all your participating club
members in Indiana). Sorry, HDXCC and SMC don't qualify. (I guess you
Hoosier SMCers could run out and join a local club)

Weather looks acceptable for now... let's hope there's not too much flooding
(not all mobile routes are interstates)...
