Hams in Northwest Indiana might be interested in attending this event in Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. 


A D-STAR Training Class has been scheduled for Saturday, 4/27, 9 am - Noon 

at the Palatine, IL EOC. 



The class is for those new to D-STAR and those who have been using D-STAR. 

It will be more in-depth than D-STAR Overview / Introduction forums held at hamfests & club meetings. 

 
The class will be presented by hams very experienced in using D-STAR technology. 
 
The class  will be 3 hours and will cover the following topics:
 1) Intro to D-STAR  
 2) D-STAR Equipment
 3) Callsign Registration
 4) Basic Radio Programming
 5) Memory Management
 6) Best Practices On the Air
 
Copies of the presentation slides will be provided.
