[InHam] INQP tomorrow

Tomorrow at 1600 UTC (noon EDT) starts the 12 hours of the Indiana QSO
Party. There will be lots of Indiana stations on (see the activity map at
www.hdxcc.org/inqp) but if you're not on the map yet, don't worry... You can
still join in the fun. (take a look at the rules for exchange info, etc)

Pay special attention to the handful of mobiles and rovers who will be
scurrying from county to county to activate "the rare ones".... many will be
in a county for no more than 30 minutes, so don't put off working them. Many
will be operating on 20-40-80 meter CW to give as many folks as possible a
shot.

If you call CQ on phone, be sure to ask occasionally for "mobiles only
please" as rover/mobile signals are often much weaker than others. And it
might be a new county for you.

Even if you make but one contact, please send in a log.... Tim N9LF is a
wizard at deciphering electronic logs, so you can even use Excel (as long as
the QSO info is there). If three or more from the same Indiana club send in
logs, the club is eligible for the top club plaque. (note... HDXCC is not
eligible and SMC is not an Indiana club).

Hope to work a lot of folks from the midwest tomorrow.

Mel KJ9C
