Subject: [IndianaD-STAR] Re: D-Star Coming to Marion
Hello everyone. I'm Bryan KB9YEN. Kevin KB9CRA, the trustee for the Grant County
ARC here in Marion IN and I have been working all week to get the Marion D-Star
repeater up and running.
I am happy to let everyone know the repeater is up an running and on our tower.
The tower is located in north Marion Indiana at about 350 feet. Currently we are
running at default high power of the RF unit until our amp is tuned up and put
on the repeater.
We have submitted for approval for the G2 gateway and waiting on that response.
Details
Freq: 443.400 +DUP
OS: CentOS with G2 and DPlus
Scripts: currently only the D-Plus default scripts
(I do plan to add a weather script so users can retrieve a weather report)
If anyone has any questions about our setup please ask, I will also be putting
up some photos soon and will post a link. I am also experienced with D-Star
hotspots if anyone ever needs any help in that area.
Bryan ~ KB9YEN
