After monitoring several frequencies on 75M over the past weeks it looks
like the "Good Morning Kentucky Phone Net" may have found a new home on
3810mHz. This morning the rag-chew started around 7:30am and broke for
the net at 8:30 After the net several folks stayed around to talk some
more and there was nobody within 5kHz either side. Some who said they
had given up on trying to have a Kentucky net were going to start
hanging around on 3810 during the day just to see if it might develop
into the new "Kentucky Frequency". One of the more mature operators
said it was like coming home again because 3810 was where "Good Morning
Kentucky Phone Net" was about 30-years ago.
If a morning chat on HF with other amateur operators interests you, set
your radio to 3810, give out your call and see who responds. This
location is very new for the group so several of us are trying to pass
the word along to those we know.
