Hi Matt,
COOL!! Thanks for responding & for helping the Haitians.
I have family in Fort Myers & will share this w/them.
I am also sharing this w/several e-grps that I belong to & other family/friends.
I am the only ham in our family so far & I live in NW Indiana. Maybe we will have a QSO on HF some time.
Are you streaming your radio programming?
Keep up the good work & hang in there. We need all the conservative radio/tv people we can get.
Thanks.

Hi Kate,
I commend you for you keen observation skills.
Haiti has a history of being a poor country w/a corrupt government.
Apparently they don't have the strict modern building standards/codes that we do.
I remember something about a disaster similar to this in (I think) Asia where the buildings where substandard compared to ours. There was a lot of death & destruction there also.
It is a real shame that other countries have leaders like that & their people have to live in such poor conditions.
We, here in this country do not know how good we have it & should thank God for what we have, because we could lose everything in an instant also.

Meaning? Haiti does not use rebar and everything has come down?
