It's my sad duty to report that I learned this evening that Bob 
Middeler, WB4ZOA, of Louisville, joined the ranks of Silent Key on 
Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. His obituary as published in the Louisville 
Courier-Journal appears below.

MIDDELER, ROBERT A., WB4ZOA, 80, of Louisville passed away on Tuesday, 
February 16, 2010 at the Norton Audubon Hospital.

He was retired from General Electric Co., a member of Guardian Angels 
Catholic Church and had served his country in the U.S. Army during the 
Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Hazel Middeler.

He is survived by a son, Thomas A. Middeler (Diane); grandchildren, 
Stephen (Samira), Launa, John, Kayse and Jessica; great-grandchildren, 
Niobe "Little Fern," Delilah and Amina; a sister, Virginia Hammonds.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 
2010 at 10 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown 
Road, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will
