To all,

I am saddened to report that Ernest Jackson Jr, known to the Kentucky 
Amateur Radio community as "Jack," KD4JQD, became a Silent Key on Thursday, 
Oct. 29th.

Jack was a regular on several 75 Meter frequencies, including 3960, and 
frequented hamfests throughout the region. According to Stu Kratz, WX4ME, 
Jack was a regular among the Louisville ROMEO group (Retired Old Men Eating 
Out) that met on Monday mornings.

Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1 at Owen Funeral Home, 9318 
Taylorsville Road in Jeffersontown, Ky. (502) 266-9655. The funeral is 11 
a.m. Monday.
