FYI,

I knew Bob. 

He used to be on the W9LJ/R alot. 

I believe he was a member of the LCARC, He was at the meetings when I would go to them. 

He was retired from Ford Motor Co. 

He was a ham since the 50s & was married. 

I don't know how many decendents he has.

He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Hammond & helped out at Hammond Baptist School in Scherreriville.

He was a real nice guy. 

My thoughts & prayers go out to & for his family & friends.

Sadly, we have these moments in life we would rather not deal with
and the passing of Bob Pearson, W9KKL to silent key is one of those.  I
understand he died this morning March 17, 2009.  Does anyone NOT have a
story of how he helped them in some way?  He will be sadly missed.
