I think a lot of clubs try to avoid scheduling anything during those 
times because people are often busy with other things.

There is a net every Wednesday at 7:30pm on the 146.700 MHz (-600 kHz 
offset, no PL) repeater in Indianapolis. You should be able to check 
in with a handheld radio especially from the upper floor of a house 
or hotel. The net usually has 75-90 check-ins plus announcements and Newsline.

One radio-related sight-seeing trip you might want to take is to the 
US Navy WW2 radio room exhibit at the Indiana War Memorial in
