I hope you all take advantage of the good weather we'll have this weekend to
tweak those dipole antennas .... or the mobile rig... or to pre-install your
portable antennas for what we hope will be the best INQP yet.

We've increased the number of awards for out of state entries.... there are
high power, low power, and QRP plaques... and plaques to encourage W7 and
New England stations to log MORE Indiana stations while they operate in
their QSO Parties next weekend. Take a look at the publicity package at the INQP website. It offers operating tips as well as a list of plaques. There will also be certificates for high scores by Indiana county.

and gas prices are way down from 2008, so those mobiles that are still
planning should be posting those plans pretty soon on the reflector.

OPERATING HINT - Forty meters has been going really long early - like
mid-afternoon. We should check 80 meters from time to time.... we might get
on 80 on the hour and half hour, to see if there's anybody calling CQ...
might pick up a few extra mults... mobiles should call CQ, since they will
be the multipliers. (Yes, I know it's one more thing for the mobile op to
remember to do..... but give it a try)
