Bob:
I've heard this kind of reassurance in the political arena, too. Especially
this year.
Ernst Hemingway Device (EHD): During an interview the writer Ernst
Hemingway was asked what it took to be a great poet. His answer was that in
order to be a great poet, or anything else, for that matter, one must have
an infallible, shock-proof crap detector.
My thought is that hams, along with everyone else, would be wise to employ
EHDs on a regular basis, including those times when they are being reassured
that there is no threat to their frequency allocations or use thereof.

From the ARRL Letter:
"There are redundant layers of interference rejection mechanisms
built into the product that should protect its users from being
impacted by strong Amateur Radio signals," Price said.
